We’re on the hunt for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools across Bristol where every day is different, and your ideas are valued. You’ll be the calm in the storm, the friendly face pupils trust, and the extra pair of hands that make creative learning possible for children with additional needs.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups with creative, hands-on activities
2. Bringing lessons to life with art, music, play, and plenty of imagination
3. Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to adapt lessons and routines
4. Helping to create a safe, structured space where every child can shine
You’ll need:
5. Experience working with children or young people with SEND
6. A big heart, patience, and a knack for thinking on your feet
7. A creative approach to come up with out-of-the-box provision ideas
