Your new role Seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to manage financial and management accounting. This role involves financial reporting for existing entities, establishing processes for new ones, and ensuring timely, accurate reporting.Responsibilities: Prepare/review financial statements in line with IFRS/UK GAAP. Lead quarter-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis and management reporting. Prepare quarterly management reporting and consolidations. Oversee asset and property management reporting to landlords. Provide performance reporting to lenders. Support financial accountants and corporate transactions. Act as the primary contact for external auditors, coordinating audit schedules and ensuring compliance. Help mentor junior accountants What you'll need to succeed Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. Knowledge of the broader real estate or construction sector is advantageous. Strong technical understanding of accounting standards (FRS 102, IFRS, Companies Act). Experience in improving financial close processes to meet deadlines. Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. Adaptability to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to personal and professional growth.
