Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? This newly created role will cover many aspects of our operational/administrative office business and presents an opportunity for the right person to shape the role and be an integral part of the Edinburgh office and the wider group. The role involves close collaboration with the Office Manager and Administration Managers with regards to the delivery of exceptional service to our colleagues and ultimately our clients. We have big aspirations, so are looking for a future colleague who is excited by change, driven by excellence and well versed in dealing with variety and tight deadlines. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and the ability to provide organisational and administrative leadership and be a key motivator for teams within the office. Support local and regional office activities working closely with Office Manager and Head of Office, where appropriate, to support strategic business plans Act as a role model, coach and leader, who works collaboratively with the Office Manager, and Central Operational staff, to achieve business goals, adhere to policy and ensure good conduct and client outcomes on all operational aspects within the office Drive and improve operational compliance, efficiency and security by leading and supporting the Client Services teams to deliver a quality efficient service to our colleagues and clients. Coordinate and run best practice sessions for operational tasks and initiatives and where required deliver training for new starters and refreshers while ensuring learning materials are available to all Attend and support meetings within the office to raise the operational and change agendas and identify issues / actions to then manage on behalf of the office Line Management of Administration Managers/Team Leads and hold the team accountable to achieve results What do you need to succeed? Must-have Previous experience within financial services in an administration or operational role Knowledge of both financial planning and investment management industry Up to date knowledge of regulatory environment Understanding relevant end to end business processes and technologically savvy Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite Team player with first-rate people skills, with ability to communicate with colleagues across all levels and functions Well-developed influencing and negotiating skills Nice-to-have Relevant industry recognized qualifications such as, CISI Level 3 - ‘Introduction to Investment’ Experience of managing a team What is in it for you?
