* Can work confidently with children in need, child protection processes, and court work
* Value multi‑agency working and understand the role of professional curiosity
* Are reflective, resilient, compassionate and motivated by improving children’s lives
Experience within a Family Safeguarding model is desirable, but not essential—we offer training and development to support you to thrive in this approach.
What We Offer
* A supportive, skilled and stable workforce
* Strong training pathways, including Family Safeguarding and motivational interviewing
* High‑quality reflective supervision
* Opportunities for career development within a large and ambitious council
* A culture that values learning, inclusion, and professional autonomy

Join us and be part of a service that is proud of its values and committed to achieving positive change for children and families across Lancashire.
You must be registered (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with the Social Care Council.
