Due to growth, investment and expansion, a leading manufacturer of complex components supplied to the aerospace, automotive, defence and high technologies sectors has a new vacancy for a Quality Inspector. Applicants are sought with experience in the aerospace sector and expertise in non-destructive testing experience (NDT). The Role Perform visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) of precision components. Ensure that all inspection standards as agreed with customers’ specifications are conducted. Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Work with Quality & Production teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements. Programming and use of CMMs (training provided) Participate in corrective action or improvement teams. Work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operational teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality. The Person Previous experience of non-destructive testing. (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) preferable). A working knowledge of aerospace standards is advantageous (not essential). Ability to identify and define any breaches in customer expectations and requirements. Able to read and comprehend engineering drawings and specifications.
