Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Fellow. Our service is led by 14 consultants specialising in both clinical and medical oncology. The post is for 12 months and the successful applicant will join a wide team of 7 STs, 3 Specialty Doctors, 1 IMT, and FY doctors.
Responsibilities
* Provide patient care in a busy outpatient service.
* Participate in ward work, chemotherapy units, radiotherapy department, and the clinical trial (Stefani) unit.
* Contribute to audit, teaching, and research opportunities.
* Work within a 15‑bedded oncology ward that accepts direct admissions and an acute nurse‑led Oncology Service.
Qualifications
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
Location
Dundee is Scotland’s fourth largest city, located on the River Tay and hosting the universities of Abertay and Dundee. Ninewells Hospital is a major teaching hospital and a Regional Cancer Centre, providing all surgical, radiotherapy, and medical oncology services on a single site with strong links to the University of Dundee Medical School.
