We are seeking a skilled Security Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems, including CCTV, IDS, FIRE, ACCESS CONTROL, NURSE CALL. Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain security systems such as CCTV cameras, IDS, and FIRE SYSTEMS.
* Conduct routine inspections and ensure optimal system performance.
* Interpret schematics and system design documents to accurately implement security solutions.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for installation and repair tasks.
* Collaborate with clients to assess site requirements and develop customised security system layouts.
* Perform electrical work related to security infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
* Assist in the construction and integration of security systems within existing building frameworks.
* Maintain detailed records of service activities, system configurations, and technical issues for future reference.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in security technology including IDS protocols and telecommunication systems.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in electronic security systems.
* Familiarity with CCTV systems, FIRE Systems, ACCESS Control, IDS Systems, NURSE Call Systems.
* Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and construction environments.
* Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex security issues.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
* Relevant certifications or training in electrical work or security systems are advantageous but not essential.
