The Opportunity

We are seeking a Pastry Chef with creative flair and leadership excellence to join our opening team. This is a rare opportunity to shape the pastry identity of The St.Regis London, curating exquisite desserts and baked goods that embody artistry, precision, and luxury. You will lead the pastry team, inspire innovation, and ensure every creation delights guests while upholding the highest standards of quality, sanitation, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and inspire the pastry culinary team across restaurants, banquets, lounges, and in-room dining
2. Personally exhibit baking and decorating talents while guiding staff in technique and innovation
3. Develop new pastry concepts, decorative displays, and signature creations that reflect St.Regis elegance
4. Ensure consistent quality, flavor, and presentation across all pastry offerings
5. Oversee purchasing, receiving, storage, and inventory management for pastry operations
6. Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards
7. Deliver service that exceeds guest expectations and drives loyalty
8. Handle guest concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
9. Foster a culture of teamwork, motivation, and continuous improvement
10. Train and mentor staff on pastry fundamentals, menu items, and presentation excellence

What We’re Looking For

11. 6+ years’ experience in pastry
12. Strong leadership and team-building skills with proven ability to inspire and mentor
13. Excellent communication and guest service abilities
14. Knowledge of UK food safety standards and pastry best practices
15. Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-demand luxury setting
