An excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking for a role with good work life balance to join a well-established, quality‑driven company.
Due to continued growth we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the business. You will work in a close‑knit team, in a state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility, and on the latest high‑precision machinery. In this role you will conduct service and maintenance work, handle breakdowns and urgent repairs, and implement continuous improvement to minimise downtime.
This role would suit an individual from a manufacturing background with a mechanical bias who wants to progress their skills further within a well‑established company.
The Role
* Conduct service and maintenance work, breakdowns, and urgent repairs
* Drive continuous improvement to minimise downtime
* Adhere to all H&S standards
* 40 hours per week, 6 am to 2 pm
* £17.75 per hour, overtime rate £22 per hour
The Person
* Time served or hold formal engineering qualifications
* Mechanical bias
* Experience with CNC and/or PLC is a bonus but not essential
Salary: £36,920 per annum. Hourly rate: £17.75 per hour with overtime at £22 per hour.
