Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £51,750
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating 12-hour days & nights
Staffforce Recruitment is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site in Scunthorpe.
Role Includes
* Planned preventive maintenance across site machinery
* Reactive maintenance and fast response to breakdowns
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding
* Working on PLC-controlled and automated equipment
* Supporting continuous improvement projects
* Completing maintenance records on CMMS systems
* Equipment installations and repairs
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with GMP standards
* Working closely with production and engineering teams
Candidate Requirements
* Apprentice trained engineer
* Recognised electrical and mechanical qualifications
* Previous manufacturing or FMCG experience preferred
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
* Experience working on automated machinery and production equipment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of health & safety procedures
* Flexible to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
