Mortgage Adviser – High‑Value Cases, Warm Leads, Real Career Progression

This is an opportunity for an ambitious Mortgage Adviser who wants more than just volume. Joining a business that operates at the premium end of the market, you’ll advise clients with complex needs, strong borrowing power and long‑term planning goals, supported by a collaborative team and an established referral network.

This independent, multi‑disciplinary financial services firm supports clients from first purchase through to later‑life planning. With an ethos built on behaviour, trust and service excellence, the business provides mortgages, protection, health insurance and access to trusted professional partners. It is known internally for consistency, transparency and teamwork.


About the Role

As the Residential Mortgage Adviser, you’ll service a strong flow of inbound and internal referrals while also building their own network over time.

Approximately 60% of business is provided, with increasing focus on advisers who can act as hunters and build relationships. Candidates with some mortgage experience and strong drive will be considered, even if they have not previously generated all of their own leads.

Average case sizes are significant, and the mortgage advisory role works closely alongside protection advisers rather than being expected to sell protection directly.


Key Responsibilities

* Advise clients on residential mortgages and related lending solutions
* Deliver a high‑quality, compliant advisory journey from enquiry to completion
* Work closely with protection advisers to ensure holistic client outcomes
* Build referral relationships with introducers and professional partners
* Generate a minimum of £25k per month in written business
* Maintain FCA‑compliant records and documentation


Employed Package

* Basic Salary £30k + Commission Structure tiered up to 35%
* 20 days holiday plus 1 extra day accumulated service up to 25 days
* Private Medical Insurance
* 1 WFH day once probation passed and CAS achieved


Self Employed

* 60% Own leads - 40% Client provided leads
* Own introducer business, after introducer paid, net balance is split 50/50


Skills & Experience

* Some mortgage advisory experience preferred
* Strong motivation to develop new business
* Comfortable working with high‑net‑worth individuals
* Team player who values shared success
