We have a fantastic new opportunity to join Vertu Motors as a Data Protection Administrator. The role will be full-time, offering flexibility in working hours and the opportunity for hybrid working if desired. You will be offered the opportunity to expand your Data Protection knowledge whilst focusing on protecting the personal data of customers and colleagues. We are offering a basic salary of £26,000 as well as excellent company benefits. The Role: Handle data protection concerns and requests as a member of our Data Protection Team. Effectively manage the mailbox for all Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs). Accurately log all DSARs and ensure all deadlines for responses are met. Produce written responses to DSARs, including collating the necessary documentation and applying the appropriate redactions where needed. Ensure DSAR responses are accurate and cover the full extent of the data request. Process various GDPR requests, such as amendments and erasures. Respond to any basic data protection queries from customers and colleagues. Our Ideal Candidate: You will have high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. You will be organised and efficient while prioritising workload in a timely manner. You will possess strong interpersonal skills, as relationship maintenance and communication skills are of paramount importance in this role. Knowledge, understanding or interest in Data Protection Law (UK GDPR/PECR) is highly desirable, but not strictly necessary. If your application is successful, we will need to complete the usual employment checks prior to you starting with us. For this role, these can include us verifying your recent employment, address, and credit history. We may also conduct a criminal record check and a driving licence check.
