Title: Grinding Machine Operator : Weekend Shift
Hours: Friday to Sunday : 0600am : 1800pm
Type: Permanent
Our client based in Tiverton is currently has an exciting opportunity for a machine operator to join their team on weekends only shift. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and forward-thinking person with engineering and machine operating experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and running grinding machines to produce high-quality components.
Responsibilities
* Set and operate grinding machines to manufacture various components.
* Select the correct program for machine operation.
* Ensure machines are correctly set up and maintained for optimal performance.
* Conduct quality checks on slides before and after machining to meet production standards.
Key Skills Required
* Understanding of engineering drawings.
* Ability to follow process instructions accurately.
* Proficient in using measuring equipment.
* Basic IT skills with knowledge of specific engineering packages.
Qualifications
* A Level 2/3 engineering qualification is preferred.
* Experience in an engineering environment is desirable but not essential.
