Job Title: Warehouse Picker & Packer
Location: Tewkesbury
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: Starting from £13.29 per hour (increasing with training)
Working Hours & Shift Pattern
* Monday to Saturday (5 shifts per week on a rota basis)
* Shift times:
o 07:00 – 16:30
o 09:00 – 18:30
o Saturday: 07:00 – 16:00
* Flexibility required to stay beyond scheduled hours when needed
* Shifts are assigned based on business needs (not fixed weekly patterns)
* Candidates must be able to work both early and late shifts
Role Overview
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced chilled warehouse environment. The Warehouse Picker & Packer plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch.
You will work with modern warehouse equipment and technology, contributing to efficient operations and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately pick and pack customer orders
* Rotate and manage stock effectively
* Replenish inventory and maintain stock levels
* Prepare and load goods securely for dispatch
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
* Operate warehouse equipment such as PPT/LLOP (training provided)
* Work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-moving environment
Requirements
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to perform physical, manual tasks
* Flexibility with working hours and shift patterns
* Reliable transport to and from Tewkesbury
* Previous warehouse or FMCG experience is beneficial but not essential
* PPT/LLOP licence is advantageous (training available)
Pay & Overtime
* Starting pay: £13.29 per hour
* Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours
