ABOUT THE ROLE
I’m seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and oversee the operational functions of our commercial fit-out business. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion, driving efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction.
You will manage and mentor a dynamic team, oversee budgets and resources, and implement strategies to streamline processes while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, you will foster strong relationships and resolve escalated issues. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in project delivery, team leadership, and operational excellence in the construction or fit-out sector.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Proven experience in an operations leadership role within the commercial fit-out or construction industry.
2. Strong track record in managing large-scale projects, including budgets, schedules, and resources.
3. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on performance and accountability.
5. Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management abilities.
6. Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget control and optimizing profitability.
7. Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement operational plans aligned with business objectives.
8. Skilled in identifying and mitigating operational risks effectively.
9. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, teams, and senior leadership.
10. Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field (preferred).
