Our client looks for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join their expanding Financial Services (FS) Audit team as a Senior Associate. You must be willing to relocate to the Isle of Man to apply. The Financial Services audit portfolio includes a broad range of clients, including regulated entities, funds, SPVs, and other investment structures across multiple domiciles, regulatory frameworks, accounting standards (UK GAAP and IFRS), and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead audit assignments for a range of Financial Services clients
* Prepare accounts and financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP / IFRS
* Design and implement efficient and effective audit plans
* Ensure audit engagements are delivered to the highest standards within budget and timeframe
* Act as a technical resource for FS accounting and regulatory issues, including delivering training and contributing to technical insights
* Manage and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and performance
* Contribute to building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth audit process
* Support the development of the FS audit practice and contribute to business development as needed
Key Skills And Qualifications
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
* Solid experience leading audit engagements, preferably within Financial Services
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, ambitious mindset with a commitment to high-quality work and continuous improvement
