Role Overview
You will join the company’s busy Technical Support team in Derbyshire, focusing on creating and maintaining high quality SOPs (standard operating procedures), installation/user manuals, and drawings/models for product fabrications.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Technical Author, with Illustrations / Illustrator expertise
* Proficient in CAD, Solidworks and Adobe packages including Illustrator
* Good understanding of basic engineering principles
* Well-organised professional
* Proactive, self-motivated and solutions focused
* Clear and confident communicator and strong team player
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
* Generate technical materials to facilitate on-time delivery of products to market
* Work with design team to create 3D models and SOPs for illustration kits
* Create work instructions and Standard Production Order (SPO) to assist production
* Create or revise user and installation manuals for new or existing products
* Manage and implement change through cross-department communication
* Create an illustrated parts catalogue (IPC) to aid parts identification

Press Brake Setter / Operator

Candidate Requirements
* Proven strategic procurement experience (not purely transactional)
