PE Global is recruiting a Planning Manager for our client based in Kent. The role is an initial 9-month contract and the rate is £25 P/hour.
Responsibilities:
* Own and manage the Master Production Schedule (0–13 weeks) and Sales & Operations Planning (3–24 months)
* Oversee order book management, scheduling, and order fulfilment processes
* Lead and optimise inventory management, including aged and slow-moving stock
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
* Implement and track KPIs to measure planning and inventory effectiveness
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning and scheduling processes
* Manage and support the Customer Service team to ensure excellent client communication
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with site and business objectives
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a planning or supply chain role within a manufacturing environment
* Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries (highly desirable)
* Strong understanding of GMP and compliance requirements
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Proactive, driven, and focused on continuous improvement
