As the Business Data Management Lead, you’ll help us ensure we achieve our objective of creating a marketplace of easily accessible, ready to use, trusted data products. You’ll deliver incremental value through the development and execution of our data products, embed standards and drive improved quality, to enable data-driven decisions throughout NFU Mutual.
You’ll drive the implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of NFU Mutual’s data management and governance framework. You’ll also be key to understanding the data requirements of the business and will lead on a range of strategic data domains, including for example Customer, Claims, Finance etc. You’ll play a pivotal role in embedding our Data Ownership Framework, working with senior leaders to embed accountability for data within all parts of the organisation. Using your exceptional communication and influencing skills you’ll collaborate with key business stakeholders, the Data Product build team, data, change and risk teams across the business and architecture colleagues.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. About you
Pro-active, forward thinking and naturally curious, you have a clear business focus, are able to provide direction and deliver through ambiguity, and can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.
To join our team, it’s essential that you have:
* Current experience in a business-facing role working with multiple senior stakeholders
* Ability to communicate to stakeholders at varying levels of data literacy
* Strong networking skills that ensure you gain business engagement
* Experience of transforming and embedding effective data management practices within an insurance, financial services, or regulated industry.
* Experience of leading, supporting and developing a team
* Experience of leading steering groups.
You must also have experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Data Management
* Data Governance
Insurance Business Domain Knowledge and Data Visualisation experience is also desirable.
