Due to our growth, we are seeking a Land Surveyor to join our Geomatics team.
Position Overview
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits. It provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated surveyor eager to advance their career in Geospatial Engineering through diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct land surveys in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
2. Perform site data capture, processing, and produce survey drawings, reports, and data files.
3. Ensure quality assurance and conduct thorough checks on all deliverables.
4. Coordinate with clients on-site regarding health & safety procedures and project specifications.
5. Report on project progress and assist in project management tasks.
6. Support training and mentoring of junior team members.
7. Collaborate with colleagues across multidisciplinary teams.
8. Maintain and manage survey equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
9. Ensure compliance with ICES, TSA, and relevant professional standards.
10. Maintain a valid CSCS card and uphold site/construction safety practices.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential
1. Proven experience in land surveying.
2. Proficiency with survey equipment and software such as Total Stations, GNSS, LSS, and AutoCAD.
3. Willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays.
4. Full, clean UK driving license (company vehicle provided).
Desirable
1. Knowledge of measured building surveys, 3D laser scanning, REVIT, or underground utility mapping.
