Shift Pattern: Rotating 3-shift system (Monday-Friday)
1. 06:00 - 14:00
2. 14:00 - 22:00
3. 22:00 - 06:00

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join their established team at their Newcastle site, supporting high-speed manufacturing operations on a rotating shift basis.
Key Responsibilities
4. Ensure all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification
5. Take appropriate and timely actions to ensure the delivery of high-quality finished products to customers
6. Identify and analyse high-risk activities, trends, and events within the production process
7. Work proactively with manufacturing teams, using data-driven insights and personal initiative
8. Act as a central point of contact for customer-related and plant quality issues
9. Support quality standards across multiple work areas, working flexibly where safety and competence allow
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
10. Proven experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment
11. Background in high-speed production environments
12. Strong knowledge of ISO standards, SPC (Statistical Process Control), HACCP, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
13. Confident using data, systems, spreadsheets, and databases to support quality decisions
Desirable:
14. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering or technical discipline

16. Self-motivated, methodical, and systematic in approach to problem-solving
17. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and support change
18. Demonstrates leadership qualities and an ability to support continuous improvement initiatives
