Job Title: Business Administrator Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum Location: Sheffield Department: Training Division We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Business Administrator to join our growing Sheffield training centre. This is a key role within the organisation, supporting both the learner journey and the wider compliance and quality functions. More than a front-of-house position, this role is central to the smooth running of our training operations — ensuring learners, tutors, and internal teams are supported effectively from enrolment through to completion. Key Responsibilities: * Act as a first point of contact for learners, visitors, and staff, providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience. * Support the learner journey by maintaining accurate learner records, updating class registers, and ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant. * Scan, file, and upload learner evidence and compliance documents in line with data protection and audit requirements. * Liaise with tutors, learners, and the compliance team to ensure data is accurate and up to date. * Support the coordination of classroom activities, room bookings, and training resources. * Assist with learner enrolments, inductions, and completion paperwork. * Produce and distribute regular reports as required by the compliance and operations teams. * Provide general administrative support across departments, ensuring smooth business function within the Sheffield centre. * Support Ofsted and ESFA audit readiness through accurate document management and version control. Skills & Experience: * Experience in an administrative role within education, training, or a similar regulated environment (preferred). * Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail. * Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a professional and approachable manner. * Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database systems. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider quality and compliance team. * A proactive attitude, able to manage workload independently and take ownership of key administrative processes. * Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security at all times
