Role: Part-Time Art & DT Teacher – 2 days/week (Tues & Thurs)

What You’ll Do
1. Lead creative and practical lessons in Art and DT, helping students develop design thinking and artistic skill
2. Work with a varied cohort, including students who speak English as an additional language, and those needing bespoke learning support
3. Design and run small-group or individual sessions tailored to specific learning needs
4. Support extra-curricular clubs (there’s already a thriving D&T club and textile club)
5. Contribute to the school’s inclusive culture, underpinned by a strong rights-respecting ethos
Who You Are
6. A qualified teacher (or working towards qualification) in Art, Product Design, or DT
7. Someone excited by both the creative and technical sides of design
8. Flexible and adaptable — ready to teach in different modes (whole class, small group, 1:1)
