A thriving primary school in Southport is seeking an experienced KS2 Class Teacher to join their Lower Key Stage 2 team for the summer term. This role requires a confident and effective practitioner who can deliver high‑quality teaching, maintain strong routines and support pupils’ progress throughout the final term of the academic year.
The school has a warm, supportive staff team, strong leadership and a positive approach to behaviour and learning. You will be responsible for full class teaching and will play an important part in ensuring continuity, consistency and pupil engagement during a key period of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging KS2 lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Establishing clear expectations for behaviour and classroom routines
* Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
* Contributing to year‑group and whole‑school planning
* Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
About You:
* Strong, proven experience teaching within KS2
* Confident delivering lessons within Lower Key Stage 2
* Excellent classroom management and curriculum knowledge
* Able to integrate quickly into an established school environment
* This role is not suitable for ECT candidates
