TPF Recruitment are proud to partner with an established and rapidly-growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Newbury, who are looking for an experienced Accounts Senior, or Client Manager to join their team. This is a key role managing a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and supporting junior staff, with clear progression opportunities as the firm continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of SME and OMB clients
* Prepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Prepare and/or review corporation tax computations and returns
* Oversee the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships
* Review work prepared by junior team members, providing mentoring and technical support
* Ensure work is completed accurately and in line with current accounting and tax standards
Requirements
* Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified, but QBE candidates with strong practice will definitely be considered.
* Strong background within a UK accountancy practice
* Experience working directly with clients and reviewing accounts work
* Good working knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations
* Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

* Salary circa £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.

Requirements
For this fantastic opportunity, you may be an AAT studying, and/or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT, with a background in accountancy practice, with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, at Accounts Semi Senior level, within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.
