About the role:
We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join the Microbiology team at Northwick Park Hospital. The department processes over 320,000 samples annually from various clinical areas. You will work in a modern, well-equipped laboratory using advanced diagnostic and IT systems, gaining valuable experience in microbiology practice. The role involves collecting, sorting, testing samples, registering specimens, answering enquiries, validating results, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. You will participate in a flexible seven-day rota, including late, early, core, and night shifts.
