Due to continued expansion we are now looking for 2 more people to join our company. We are looking for Hard Working people to join our team to manually dismantle the refrigeration and other equipment that we collect from around the UK. You will be required to assist with the loading/unloading of the fridges (domestic and commercial) as well as other manual type work in the warehouse.
You will need to be physically fit as the role is very demanding and requires you to move/lift large bulky and heavy items on your own or with help. This job requires lots of stamina as it is a physical job of labouring.
On a day-to-day basis the role involves manually dismantling commercial refrigeration equipment, using powered and non-powered hand tools, along with sledge hammers and crowbars. You will need to be able follow procedures and instructions along with a good ability to work with your hands.
This is a manual job where you will be working hard to strict timescales. You will be expected to work to a good level of efficiency and consistency to ensure that we maintain our work throughput. The ability to be able to follow set procedures and verbal instructions is required.
The ability to drive Luton vans would be an addition bonus and very helpful to the working of the business.
Please note we operate Monday to Friday 8am -4PM with 30 mins lunch and 15 mins morning and afternoon for breaks.
Duties:* Manual Dismantle of materials using hand tools and power tools; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing waste in waste area.
* Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse and that stock is in the correct location and labelled correctly.
* Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
* Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping warehouse clean and tidy inside and out and by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations for warehouse.
