Regional Operations ManagerCentral Scotland (Multi-site) | Independent SchoolsThe roleThis is a newly created position supporting a portfolio of independent school contracts across Scotland.Working closely with the Senior Account Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring sites consistently deliver high standards of food, service and client experience. This is a varied, hands-on role combining operational support, client relationship management and continuous improvement across multiple locations.You will be trusted to step into sites when needed, support and guide managers, and drive consistency across the region.What makes this role differentThis is not a desk-based support role. It offers:Real variety across multiple sites and teamsAutonomy to manage your own time and prioritiesA visible role with direct impact on service delivery and client relationshipsThe opportunity to step into a broader, multi-site operational position within a well-established contractIt would suit someone looking to move from a single-site or senior unit role into a wider operational position.Key responsibilitiesSupport the Senior Account Manager in delivering operational performance across multiple school sitesBuild strong, credible relationships with clients and site teamsProvide on-site operational support and cover where requiredDrive improvements in service standards, processes and team performanceSupport site managers with recruitment, performance management and team engagementEnsure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding and food safety standardsCoordinate and share best practice across sitesContribute to reporting, planning and performance trackingDeputise for the Senior Account Manager when requiredLocation and travelThis is a multi-site role covering central Scotland, including Edinburgh, Perth, St Andrews and Ayrshire.Regular travel between sites is requiredTypically one day per week at Strathallan School (Perth)Remaining time will vary depending on business needsHybrid working is available on a limited basisAbout youYou will have experience in a catering or hospitality management role,ideally with exposure to multi-site or contract environments.You will also bring:The ability to build strong working relationships with clients and teamsA practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to step in and support operationsGood organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectivelyConfidence working in a fast-paced, changing environmentStrong attention to detail, particularly around compliance and reportingConfidence using IT systems and reporting toolsA full driving licence is preferred due to the travel involvedAbout Sodexo IndependentsIndependents by Sodexo partners with leading independent schools to deliver fresh food and high-quality service in an education setting.
