Key responsibilities:
1. Manage and drive Smart Meter GSOP projects in Smart Meter operations area. Detailed requirements are not always clear at the start so person should be able to work within this type of constraint, collaborating with and influencing the right stakeholders to secure the information needed whilst still driving the project forward.
2. Reporting to Smart Meter operations head, presenting Business cases In front of Program board meeting, managing budget approvals, Implementation roadmap etc.
3. Support face-to-face meetings (where required), working standard UK office hours 9am-5pm Mon-Fri
4. Adopting any delegation and use of project assurance roles within agreed reporting structures
5. Project planning, budgeting, risk reporting and mitigation.
6. Efficient stakeholder management
Key Skills/Knowledge:
1. Hands on experience and knowledge in Smart Meter systems and GSOP projects. Good experience in CX journey.
2. Planning and monitoring the project
3. Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.
4. Effective collaboration with relevant teams to ensure no deviation from business needs.
5. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
6. Clear and crisp verbal and written communication skill.
7. Excellent articulation skill to present recommendations, project updates to various stakeholders.
Experience required:
15+ years of total IT experience and must have played the Project Manager role for Smart Meter projects.
10+ Years of Project Manager experience
