SRG is delighted to be working with one of Scotland's most innovative scientific start-ups to support their search for both graduates and more experienced hires to join their production chemistry site based in the West End of Glasgow.
This company has received substantial public and private investment and is now looking to scale up its production operations. They have recently opened a first-of-its-kind facility and are seeking to fill the team with new hires.
The Role
As a production chemist, you will work as part of the scientific operations shift team, assisting in setting up automated chemical reactions, and maintaining lab cleanliness and organization (stock solutions, raw material preparation, glassware maintenance). You will also communicate with other teams to ensure lab standards are upheld across the business and collaborate on cross-disciplinary tasks.
The Right Person
* Ideal for recent or upcoming chemistry graduates seeking their first industry role (other relevant degrees considered)
* Industry experience candidates will be highly valued
* Hard-working with a willingness to learn and contribute
* Flexible and adaptable to shift work in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of safe laboratory practices
* Hands-on experience in analytical, purification, or synthetic chemistry is preferred
