Full-Time Service Manager Job Description Basic Salary £40,000 Depending on managerial experience Bonus £14,000 OTE Monday - Friday 8.00 am to 5.30 pm Every other Saturday morning - workload dependent The Service Manager is responsible for the overall management of the service department. This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing the team of technicians, and ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service. Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department Manage the team of technicians Ensure that customers receive the highest level of service Develop and implement service policies and procedures Monitor and evaluate the performance of the service department Resolve customer complaints Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers Continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service department Qualifications: 3 years of experience in a main dealer as Workshop controller or Service Manager Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite A valid driver's license and clean driving record
