Our client is seeking an Applications Solution Architect to work in their Rochester, Kent Office.
The Role
1. Develop and deliver the roadmap for development, maintenance, and support programmes of all business applications and suite of M365 products including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dynamics, and Data Verse. Ensure a robust testing and deployment cycle that meets business needs.
2. Lead collaboration with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and requirements, designing comprehensive solutions to address their specific needs and outcomes for the customer.
3. Maintain overall knowledge of all business applications used within the company, understanding how they interface and interact, ensuring suitable integration of new technologies with existing systems.
4. Lead and manage the applications team, including development, performance management of colleagues, and relationships with suppliers, challenging and escalating when necessary.
5. Develop and deliver the roadmap for development, maintenance, and support programmes of all business applications and suite of M365 products including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dynamics, and Data Verse. Ensure a robust testing and deployment cycle that meets business needs.
Desirable Experience/Skills
1. An interest in new and developing technologies.
2. A good coach of technical staff.
3. Knowledge of the needs within the housing industry.
4. Understanding of process optimisation, deployment, and experience applying change management processes in an ICT environment.
5. Proven track record of delivering complex ICT solution projects on time, ensuring quality and accuracy.
6. Experience supporting and maintaining integrated applications, with a strong understanding of CRMs, data systems, interfaces, and digital technologies including Microsoft 365 applications.
7. Technical expertise and guidance to the applications team, assisting in effective implementation and troubleshooting.
8. Solution architecture and analysis skills, familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and process development.
9. Experience working with or applying ITIL.
