Charity Jobs NI, part of the Happy Jobs group, is partnering with Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful to recruit a proactive, organized, and dedicated Local Environmental Quality Coordinator. This role involves coordinating environmental quality initiatives and managing stakeholder engagement within the LEQ team.

Role Overview
Coordinate and project manage environmental quality and certification programs, supervise departmental officers, and ensure effective delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordination: Manage resources and deliver program outputs within budget and deadlines.
2. Project Management: Lead planning, implementation, and reporting of initiatives.
3. Surveying and Certifications: Coordinate programs like Blue Flag, Green Flag, and conduct cleanliness surveys.
4. Community Engagement: Promote participation in sustainability initiatives and expand coverage.
5. Communications: Serve as primary contact, respond to inquiries, represent the charity, and develop content.
6. Research Support: Assist in research and policy analysis related to environmental sustainability.
7. Authority and Decision-making: Manage stakeholder communications and assist in marketing efforts.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential: Relevant degree or 3 years' experience, 1 year in surveying/auditing, 2 years in program delivery, 1 year supervising staff.
Desirable: Experience in data analysis, voluntary sector, or local government.
Skills & Requirements
* Strong ICT skills (Microsoft Office).
* Full driving license and access to transport.

* Understanding of environmental issues.
* Effective team and independent working skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Additional Notes
Occasional travel across Northern Ireland and flexibility for occasional extended hours may be required. Business hours are flexible between 8am-6pm, with core hours from 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £30,328. Contract: Permanent, subject to funding.
