ABOUT THE ROLE : Motor Claims Handler
Youll manage First Notification of Loss (FNOL) and Accidental Damage motor insurance claims from initial notification through to settlement.
Youll build strong relationships with policyholders assess liability and damage coordinate repairs and ensure claims are processed efficiently fairly and in compliance with FCA regulations.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING :
* Handle FNOL motor claims gathering accurate information and setting customer expectations Assess and process Accidental Damage claims coordinating with engineers repairers and third parties
* Manage your caseload effectively ensuring timely progression and quality outcomes
* Build rapport with policyholders providing clear communication and exceptional customer service
* Investigate liability validate policy coverage and make informed settlement decisions
* Use claims management systems confidently to document case notes and track claim status
* Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to resolve complex claims Identify fraud indicators and elevate concerns appropriately
WHAT YOULL NEED :
* Motor claims handling experience (FNOL and / or Accidental Damage)
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Confident using computer systems and managing multiple cases simultaneously Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Desirable : Working towards CII qualification (Chartered Insurance Institute) well fully support you Knowledge of motor insurance policy terms and conditions
* Desirable : Experience with claims management software (e.g. SSP Acturis or similar)
