Case Manager – Full Time / Fixed Term / Carlisle
Location: North West (Penrith and Carlisle) – Hybrid role including session delivery (24 hours care delivery) and 2 office-based days, from our NW office base, located in Carlisle (CA3).
Salary:£27,000 FTE (with opportunities for additional overtime/sleep-in shifts)
Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term contract (minimum 12 months), with the possibility of extension or becoming a permanent position.
Hours: 40 hours per week

About You
We’re looking for a confident, compassionate, and proactive Case Manager who can lead by example and remain calm under pressure.
You’ll have strong communication skills, a positive outlook, and the ability to motivate both staff and the people you support.
* Degree in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent experience supporting vulnerable adults / children
* Experience supporting adults and/or children with complex needs
* Competent in delivering personal care and promoting wellbeing
* Strong communication and conflict management skills
* Positive, person-centred approach
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
About the Role
As a Case Manager (Part Delivery), you will take a hands‑on approach in delivering and coordinating person‑centred care across the North West region.
You’ll manage your own caseload, lead support teams, and work closely with individuals, families, and professionals to ensure exceptional care and support.
This is a varied and rewarding role that requires strong problem‑solving skills, resilience, and the ability to build positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Support Delivery
* Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support in the homes of the people we support
* Provide a blend of direct support and management for care packages
* Cover holiday and absence when required
* Safeguard and promote wellbeing at all times
* Manage person‑centred care plans and goals
* Manage session rotas and ensure delivery of funded hours
* Take part in the on‑call rota for out‑of‑hours support
* Report regularly to Service and Operations Managers on progress and concerns
Line Management
* Act as line manager for assigned Support Workers
* Lead rota planning and staff deployment for 24/7 packages
* Conduct supervisions, spot checks, and competency observations
* Provide coaching, guidance, and ongoing trainingModel professional conduct and high standards of care
* Recruit and induct new support staff in partnership with our Recruitment Team
* Ensure staff are trained in individuals’ needs and protocols
