You will bring your expertise as a Financial Controller, and be available to start at short notice. Strong technically, but with a commercial mindset and the ability to build relationships and lead people and projects.
Location: Nottinghamshire (3 days in the office)
Contract: 12 months with potential to become permanent
Salary: £85k to £100K
The role will see you...
* Lead the financial integration and accounting for acquired businesses
* Monthly group consolidations and reporting
* Build strong working relationships
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, ensuring timely and accurate outputs
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
* Maintain and improve financial controls, policies, and compliance standards
* Provide clear financial insight to senior leadership to support strategic decisions
* Manage audits and statutory requirements
* Support system improvements, process streamlining, and automation initiatives
* Lead and develop finance team members, ensuring effective task delivery
About you
* Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical accounting skills
* Proven experience in financial control, reporting, and business partnering
* Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment and managing competing priorities
* Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills
* Able to drive improvements and introduce better ways of working
