Marketing Manager Location: York based Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday Working pattern : York, with onsite parking, hybrid options after 6-month probation The Opportunity We are supporting a fast-growing professional services business in Yorkshire with the recruitment of a Marketing Manager. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to take real ownership of marketing strategy and delivery while playing a key role in the next stage of the business’s growth. The Role As Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of the marketing function, setting direction and ensuring activity is aligned to wider business objectives. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and service-line teams, guiding and developing the marketing team and ensuring output is consistent, on brand, and effective. Key Responsibilities Marketing strategy and delivery Develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels Partner with internal teams to create targeted campaigns that support growth Use market insight and customer data to identify opportunities and improve performance Marketing operations and performance Oversee delivery across digital content, print, events, and advertising Manage marketing budgets, prioritising spend for maximum impact Track performance, analyse results, and continuously refine activity Leadership and stakeholder engagement Lead, support and develop the marketing team Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners Represent the business at events, conferences and industry activities About You Experience and skills Proven experience delivering multi-channel marketing strategies Strong data and insight capability, able to turn information into action Confident communicator, comfortable influencing at senior level Experience using CRM systems, analytics tools and digital marketing platforms At least 5 years’ experience in marketing, including people leadership Background in B2B or professional services marketing Personal attributes Commercially minded and creative, balancing strategy with delivery Proactive, organised and comfortable managing competing priorities A supportive leader who enjoys developing others Curious, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement Working Arrangements Yorkshire-based role, with flexibility to work from either a York or Leeds office Hybrid working model Occasional travel across Yorkshire Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility where needed
