Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to customers and communities around the world. The Project Kuiper Marketing team is looking for a talented, results-oriented individual to lead media planning in Europe, with a strong background in media planning, budget management, and campaign measurement. This role is responsible for planning, buying, measuring, and optimizing media investments across multiple channels and locales, in partnership with our media agency. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and able to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
We seek someone customer-obsessed and adept at building and executing effective large-scale marketing campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, and demand. This role is based in our London, UK office.
Key job responsibilities
1. Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and measurement of integrated multi-channel campaigns to drive awareness, consideration, and demand for Project Kuiper.
2. Coordinate media across multiple European locales.
3. Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence teams to measure media impact and report performance to senior leadership, adjusting strategies as needed.
4. Work with stakeholders from various functions (business, finance, insights, creative, and other marketing teams) at local, regional, and global levels.
5. Partner with external media agencies for planning and buying.
6. Manage campaign budgets, ensuring ROI.
7. Develop scalable mechanisms for multiple marketplaces.
8. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding strategy, tactics, goals, and performance.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in marketing or marketing research.
* Proficiency in using data and metrics to measure impact and inform improvements.
* Experience manipulating and analyzing data with Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to present metrics and progress to senior leadership.
* Technical expertise in planning, buying, implementing, and measuring fixed media across channels for a B2C product or service.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in media agency roles or in-house agency, especially in telco.
