Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected employment law and HR consultancy to recruit an HR Advisor/Trainer on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities for the HR Advisor/Trainer: * Deliver generalist HR advice to organisations of various sizes across all sectors, communicating pragmatic and tailored advice to all clients. * Draft and prepare documents such as contracts of employment, policies, procedures and letters and other documents. * Look after the HR needs of your own group of clients who use our retained HR services. * Provide support to clients with investigation, grievance, disciplinary and other sensitive matters. * Design, deliver and evaluate high-impact training sessions for clients across diverse sectors, covering both core HR topics and tailored development needs. * Collaborate with clients to identify training needs and create bespoke learning solutions aligned with business goals. * Develop high standard of training materials and resources, including presentations, learning booklets, interactive tasks and post-training follow-ups * Deliver HR related training to clients – both in person and virtually Candidate Requirements for the HR Advisor/Trainer: * 2 years’ practical experience in an HR advisory role where you supported and/or delivered training on issues around the employee lifecycle. * Up to date knowledge of HR and training best practice and preferably also employment law from recruitment to termination. * Experience designing and delivering engaging training for a variety of audiences, both in-person and remotely. * Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels. * Adaptability and willingness to handle client issues across a variety of industry sectors.Enthusiasm and willingness to participate and take ownership of the firm’s business * development activities in Sheffield. * Commercial awareness and experience contributing to tenders, discussing funding opportunities, and aligning training solutions with business What’s on Offer for the HR Advisor/Trainer role: You will be part of a dynamic team with a wonderful set of values that will guide your day-to-day work activities.
