Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. We work in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We seek flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals who want to work in a specialist environment with full training and qualifications provided.
The role involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs. Our goal is to create an environment catering to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, confidence, patience, and skills are essential to make a positive impact.
Responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, supporting young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete our induction program before placements are offered.
