Payroll Manager Manchester Permanent £45,000 per annum
I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a growing Manchester-based organisation, who are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong payroll expertise to take responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing and lead a small, dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
* Lead, mentor, and support a small payroll team.
* Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
* Continuously review payroll processes to improve efficiency.
* Resolve payroll queries from employees and management.
* Produce payroll reports and contribute to management reporting.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Payroll Manager
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC reporting.
* Experience managing a small team with excellent leadership skills.
* Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
