Job Overview
This is a fixed‑term secondment for nine months (12 January 2026 – 9 October 2026) to cover maternity leave. The role is 22.5 hours per week within the Acute Stroke Occupational Therapy Team at Glan Clwyd Hospital. Applicants must obtain permission from their current line manager before applying.
Main duties of the job
* Work alongside Occupational Therapists and the multidisciplinary stroke team to maximise patient independence and facilitate hospital discharges.
* Provide personal care practice, upper‑limb therapy to improve function, cognitive tasks and mobility & transfer practice.
* Assist with various administration tasks; maintain electronic documentation and order equipment via an electronic system.
* Support the delivery of Occupational Therapy services in the setting.
