Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)? This Ofsted outstanding School is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN TA to join our supportive and dynamic team.

About Us:

This SEN School is a nurturing and specialist environment for boys aged 5-11 years who require a tailored approach to learning. We believe that every child has the potential to flourish when given the right support. Our approach is not about replicating mainstream education but about adapting to the unique needs of our pupils so they can build confidence, develop respect, and reach their full potential.

What We Offer:

1. A supportive, child-centred environment where staff are valued and empowered.
2. A multi-disciplinary team including therapists, counsellors, and specialist support staff.
3. A focus on individuality - every child receives a personalised approach to learning.
4. A school culture that celebrates each child's strengths, whether in academics, sports, music, or the arts.

The Role:

As an SEN TA in our School, you will:

1. Support in the delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
2. Work collaboratively with therapists and support staff to address each child's EHCP goals.
3. Foster confidence, respect, and independence in our pupils.
4. Use a variety of strategies, including sensory tools and movement breaks, to support learning.

Who We're Looking For:

1. A TA with experience in SEN or SEMH settings.
2. A patient, creative, and resilient individual who can support SEN learners.
3. Someone who believes in a holistic approach to education, focusing on both academic and emotional development.
4. A team player who is committed to fostering a positive, respectful learning environment.

Why Join Us?

1. A rewarding role where you'll see the impact of your work every day.
2. Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
3. A welcoming, supportive team that shares a passion for transforming lives.

If you are excited about the opportunity to inspire and support young learners, we would love to hear from you! Apply now and become part of this incredible community.

If you want to know more about this fabulous opportunity or wish to send us your application then please don't hesitate now! For more information contact Bryony di Cara.

This role is open to receiving applications over the next two weeks. Within a week of the closing date, appropriate applicants will begin a three-stage interview process, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the final stage of the interview process with appropriate school leadership.
