About the Opportunity
To join an award‑winning, integrated multidisciplinary consulting engineering practice based out of the London office, working alongside approximately 80 locally based colleagues on a hybrid basis.
As part of a national team of over 100 people, the company is privately owned by engineers who invest heavily in technical excellence, professional development, employee engagement and retention.
The well‑established team works on a diverse project portfolio that includes residential, commercial, logistics and distribution, healthcare, education, leisure and masterplanning, primarily in the UK and internationally.

Benefits and Remuneration
Salary £50,000–£65,000 depending on development and the value you bring, plus pension, life assurance, income protection, enhanced parental leave, charity day, cycle‑to‑work and other benefits.
Responsibilities
* Lead geotechnical design and analysis on projects in the UK.
* Develop and present strong geotechnical analysis and interpretive report writing.
* Lead and manage ground investigations and drive, as required.
* Support fee proposals and bids, where applicable.
Qualifications
* At least five years’ experience in geotechnical design and analysis in the UK, taking the geotechnical lead on projects.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both internally and externally.
* Working knowledge of geotechnical software tools such as Plaxis, GeoStudio and Wallap.
* Possession of a UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.
* Experience preparing fee proposals and supporting bids is desirable.
