Head of Innovation (AI & Automation)
Cheltenham | £65,-£70, + bonus | Hybrid
A growing technology consultancy is looking for a Head of Innovation to lead and scale its AI and automation offering.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where you'll shape AI and automation solutions for customers, guide delivery, and help grow an established innovation function into a major part of the business. You'll work closely with customers, developers and external partners to turn emerging technology into practical, commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead the AI and automation proposition across customers
2. Shape and deliver practical AI-driven solutions
3. Act as senior technical authority while staying close to delivery
4. Support and guide internal developers and specialist partners
5. Play a key role in growing innovation-led revenue
6. Engage directly with customers, explaining AI value and use cases
About you:
7. Strong technical background in AI, automation and software engineering
8. Experience delivering real-world automation or AI solutions
9. Comfortable balancing strategy, hands-on input and customer interaction
10. Excited by building and owning an innovation capability
