Ossett Academy is seeking to appoint an Assistant Safeguarding Officer to support the Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer to effectively manage and reduce risk of harm for pupils. The role will involve working with external agencies, colleagues within the academy, attending TAS meetings and will ensure that all matters relating to safeguarding concerns are dealt with swiftly and appropriately in line with statutory and Academy guidelines.
The successful applicant will be required to provide administrative support to the Safeguarding Team arranging and attending meetings and preparing reports. Working with pupils with varying levels of risk, they will respond to and plan to meet individual pupils needs, with advice and guidance from the Designated SLT Link and Safeguarding & Wellbeing Officer.
