Cycle to Work Scheme, employee retail discount scheme and free eye test vouchers About You Significant experience planning and delivering external corporate communications in a complex organisation Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create, adapt and deliver content that influences different audiences across multiple channels Experienced in dealing with journalists and managing media relations Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to turn communications plans into practical delivery and adapt when priorities change Able to develop collaborative relationships and confident/experienced working with senior stakeholders Able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines, prioritising effectively against the Corporate Communications and External Affairs Plan Sound judgement, decision-making skills and attention to detail, with the ability to spot and develop stories and communications opportunities Experience of the Frontier business or agriculture is an advantage but not essential; a desire to understand agriculture and stay up to date on industry news and insight is essential Your Role As a Communications Manager your role will involve: Delivering priority external communications campaigns in line with Frontier s Corporate Communications and External Affairs Plan, including raising our voice activity, corporate and media activity at priority external events, corporate sponsorship promotion and maximising the communications value of the annual report Leading day-to-day adherence to the company s media policy, coordinating planned and reactive media engagement, managing enquiries, advising stakeholders and escalating issues in line with agreed routes and approvals Drafting and editing external communications outputs, including press releases, statements, Q&A, lines to take and briefing materials Coordinating inputs and approvals, maintaining schedules and trackers, and supporting measurement and reporting Coordinating with internal communications, marketing and other teams to ensure alignment and avoid duplication We encourage candidates to submit their applications as early as possible and not to wait until the published closing date as applications will be reviewed and interviews may be booked in before that date.
