A thriving precision engineering business is experiencing sustained growth and we're on the lookout for a Mechanical Assembler to join their dynamic manufacturing team. They pride themselves on fostering a positive work culture that results in low staff turnover and offers flexible day shift hours. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is equipped with the latest machinery, tools, and equipment, designed to make the life of an engineer both efficient and enjoyable.
This is a permanent role paying up to £27,000 with great opportunity for career progression!
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble mechanical parts and structures using detailed work instructions and technical drawings
* Operate hand tools and rivet guns to complete assemblies
* Perform visual inspections and quality checks on completed assemblies
* Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler or similar mechanical/production role
* Confident in the use of hand tools and pneumatic/electric rivet guns
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
* Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality
