Location – remote‑friendly employer supporting office and hybrid working. Regular presence at our Dykebar office is a requirement of this role. Based on the outskirts of Paisley with free parking and easy access to the motorway network you’ll be part of an inclusive and innovative finance team.

Do you fit the requirements?
We are looking for someone who is committed to working in a demanding but enjoyable role in the NHS with a varied portfolio of services that are managed within the Directorate. Capable of working with finance, clinical & non clinical staff at all levels the ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to use your own initiative with excellent communication, organisational, IT and finance/ business skills. Working closely with the Head of Finance you will be responsible for the provision of a professional financial management service to corporate directors. The Head of Corporate and Partnership Management Accounts will provide:
* Financial planning support to the corporate service senior management teams and partnerships.
* Advice, direction, and support to senior managers / management teams within corporate services on financial matters.
* Reporting on financial performance advising on progress against plans, identifying the reasons for variations against plan and recommending remedial action(s) where necessary.
* Financial input and general support / advice to the development of business cases / investment appraisal decisions, as well as the accurate tracking of (multiple) project delivery costs and financial benefits, attending project team meetings as appropriate.
You will be competent in the management of financial information, financial reporting, budgetary control processes and governance arrangements. Ideally professionally qualified in accountancy you will have excellent IT skills, good communication skills and the ability to use initiative and deliver to strict timelines while dealing diplomatically with staff at all levels.
