Key Stage 1 Teacher – Hedge End Location – Hedge End Start date – November 2025 Contract – Part time and Full time available Are you a caring and creative Key Stage 1 Teacher with a passion for supporting children at the start of their primary journey? We’re looking for dedicated teachers in the Hedge End area to provide high-quality teaching and classroom cover in friendly and supportive primary schools. What we’re looking for: A fully qualified teacher with QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 1. Confident in teaching early reading, phonics, and foundational maths skills. Able to create a warm, nurturing classroom where young learners feel supported and inspired. Understanding of the transition from EYFS to KS1 and the importance of play-based, hands-on learning. Creative, enthusiastic, and patient, with a genuine love for helping children progress. Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to different school environments. About the role: Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for Key Stage 1 pupils. Support children’s early learning journeys with a focus on phonics, literacy, and numeracy. Create a positive, stimulating classroom that encourages curiosity and confidence. Adapt to different classrooms while maintaining high standards of care and learning.
